On Sunday April 6th, our Kung Fu academy, KEI Kung Fu in Amsterdam, hosted a very special Wing Chun seminar with Sifu G\u00f6ksel Erdogan \u2014 and it turned out to be a real milestone moment for our community.<\/p>\n
This was Sifu G\u00f6ksel\u2019s first seminar in the Netherlands, and we were honored to welcome him to our mat. Our students \u2014 both beginners and advanced \u2014 came together for a full afternoon of hands-on training, deep insights, and powerful martial arts principles. On top of that, Wing Chun practitioners and school owners from other lineages joined in as well, adding to the energy and diversity of the group.<\/p>\n
The focus of the day? Going back to the roots.<\/p>\n
We explored the foundations of the Wing Chun system through the Siu Nim Tao form \u2014 the first form in Wing Chun, but arguably the most important. It was a deep dive into internal structure, body mechanics, and principle-based movement. And the emphasis was clear: real martial arts power doesn\u2019t come from tension or brute force \u2014 it comes from understanding. From relaxation. From internal connection.<\/p>\n
Sifu G\u00f6ksel shared his unique approach to using explosive internal power, rooted in the Dantian and expressed through efficient, functional movement. What made it even more special was how practical it felt \u2014 not just theory or mysticism, but real, usable martial skill you could feel and apply.<\/p>\n

\u201cHOW TO USE EXPLOSIVE INTERNAL POWER THROUGH PRINCIPLES<\/p>\n
For the very first time, I held a seminar in Amsterdam and it was incredible! The group included highly motivated school owners, some with backgrounds in internal Kung Fu.<\/p>\n
That made the seminar even more exciting, as we focused on how to use relaxed, internal power through the Dantian in a principle-based, explosive and truly functional way \u2014 not just in theory.<\/p>\n
