Your child will grow at our martial arts school<\/h2>\n

When you meet a child immersed in our kung fu program, you immediately recognize their special experience! They radiate a confidence and self-assurance that most children don\u2019t get from school or sports. Our kung fu school is set up to boost a child\u2019s confidence by practicing self-confidence, building a team together with others, and learning the life skills they need to move forward on life\u2019s journey.<\/p>\n

So much fun! While learning respect, discipline, and focus<\/h2>\n

Through discipline, exercises, challenges, and team building, children\u2019s confidence in their ability to protect themselves will increase, and the required physical exercises will ensure their bodies are strong and flexible. In today\u2019s world, too many children are \u2018lost\u2019 because they lack life skills. They grow up into young men and women without purpose and without the self-respect needed to succeed, even if they had goals. KEI Kung Fu lessons provide children with skills they carry with them for life.<\/p>\n

So much more than punches and kicks<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s not just about earning belts or learning to kick and punch. Our kung fu school also teaches children to grow in other ways: mind, character, and body. They will develop understanding and respect for themselves and others. Fitness is an important element children gain from kung fu training. Fitness of mind and body can take children much further in life than regular exercise classes or sports. The whole body is worked out in kung fu exercises, and children naturally feel stronger and can better take care of themselves when they know they are fit. Bullying is also one of the issues we try to help children with at our school. We support them in building self-confidence and teach them to stand up for themselves without immediately thinking of martial arts.<\/p>\n

Children feel stronger and more confident<\/h2>\n

Knowledge and training in kung fu can help your child feel stronger that he\/she can protect themselves against bullies instead of being afraid to go to school and face bullying every day. Besides learning self-defense, a child also learns to defend themselves in other ways. It\u2019s best to avoid problematic situations that lead to violence. During our Kung Fu lessons, children learn various safe, smart techniques to be confident and well-prepared if a situation escalates.<\/p>\n

Children learn to focus on what matters<\/h2>\n

Parents often see a change in children who attend our kung fu lessons. At school, their ability to concentrate on lessons and tasks improves because they learn discipline and techniques that reward a well-rounded job with self-respect.
\nParents notice that a child gets better at doing chores without being asked repeatedly and that homework is often done before the parent has to ask. Respect for others is another milestone we teach in our children\u2019s Kung Fu lessons. From learning respect for others in their lives such as teachers, parents, and peers to learning self-respect. Students learn how to treat others as they want to be treated themselves.<\/p>\n
