Meet our Kung Fu Monkeys, a training program specially designed for four- and five-year-olds with fun and educational lessons. With Kung Fu, we work on concentration, confidence, discipline, and physical skills such as balance and coordination. Read more here about the lessons for our youngest students.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>The Kung Monkeys<\/h2>\n<p>Our Kung Fu Monkeys are 4 to 5 years old and love physical activity and everything related to play. They have a rich imagination and a strong desire to be less dependent on their caregivers. We offer them their own kung fu program fully focused on the developmental stage of our youngest students. During the lessons, the focus is on entertainment and building skills that help them on their way to success.<\/p>\n<p>This structured program that introduces early skill training in Kung Fu has proven to be very successful. Our Kung Fu Monkeys lay a strong foundation to build upon in the more advanced Kung Fu lessons in the next age groups and gives them the tools for success at home, on the playground, and at school.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1090 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/keikungfu.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/thumbnail_image0-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Kung Fu lessons for children<\/h2>\n<p>At KEI, we have organized our training by age groups; the training and exercises match the development they go through. When people think of Kung Fu, they immediately think of martial arts or self-defense. But Kung Fu is more than that, and for our youngest students, Kung Fu actually has nothing to do with martial arts or self-defense yet. However, they do learn the following skills in our Kung Fu lessons for Monkeys:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Balance, coordination, and strength.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Concentration and thinking skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Confidence and self-respect.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Better discipline at home and at school.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Kung Fu for toddlers in Amsterdam<\/h2>\n<p>Our Kung Fu Monkeys program is one of the best martial arts programs for toddlers because it is specially designed for children aged 4-5 years. Studies show that three factors in toddlers are a good indication of future success:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 The ability to pay attention<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Remembering rules<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Showing self-control<\/p>\n<p>Our Kung Fu program sharpens all these skills! This way, we help your children develop these important life skills they need to become confident leaders in and outside the classroom. They will have a great time learning all the basics of Kung Fu while improving their focus, discipline, fitness, and social skills.<\/p>\n<p>To bring Kung Fu to life for our youngest students, each 45-minute lesson for 4- and 5-year-olds is built around a theme.
