Festive Opening of KEI Kung Fu in Amsterdam City Center

After months of renovation, the moment had finally arrived. On Saturday, January 11th, the official opening of our brand new Wing Chun academy took place. Over a hundred Kung Fu enthusiasts and interested visitors from Amsterdam and surrounding areas attended our opening; we could only have dreamed of such enthusiasm.

KEI Kung Fu officially opened

The number of visitors and especially the enthusiastic responses confirmed our vision that there is a need in Amsterdam for a Kung Fu academy where the traditions of this beautiful martial art are applied in a modern way with the goal of achieving more balance, fitness, and focus in today’s life.

The opening included various speakers and demonstrations by children and adults. Sifu Lai-Wing Hau and Wesdy Mansouri officially inaugurated the academy in front of more than a hundred Kung Fu enthusiasts by cutting the ribbon. There were several Kung Fu demos and various speakers, including the architect, who is also a great Kung Fu enthusiast, explained how the environment has been optimally designed.

Kung Fu classes for children, juniors, and adults

The Kung Fu classes for children and adults have now started. This website also features the schedule for our Kung Fu classes for every age and level. Everyone from young to old, from beginner to expert, is welcome to join a Wing Chun trial class with us. On this website, you can register for a free trial class at the most beautiful Kung Fu academy in Amsterdam and surroundings.

At the festive opening, a large number of visitors already signed up for trial classes.
